Attitude of Gratitude

gratitude   Have an Attitude of Gratitude

Having a positive attitude can make all the difference to your health.  Incorporating an attitude of gratitude into everything you do can produce amazing results.  If you don’t feel you have much to be grateful for, start with the small things in your life.  When you start to think this way you will very quickly realize all the things you can/should be grateful for.  Perhaps start or end your day by making a list of 10 things you are grateful for.  We are grateful every day for our kids, grandkids, each other, our house, our jobs, the food in the kitchen, and for our vehicles.  Of course, there are many other things we are grateful for, but you get the idea.  Be grateful every day!

Get Clear on Your Goals and Your Passions

Imagine setting out in your car, but you have no set destination in mind, or you have a destination but have no clear directions on how to get there.  Which way do you go?  What do you do?  It’s the same for anything in life.  A lack of goals means a lack of direction, which results in a lack of accomplishment.  Clear goals need to be established to allow the universe to unfold in amazing ways that enable you to take the appropriate steps to reach your full potential.  Make a list of your goals.  See if you can come up with 100 goals.  Include all areas of your life, financial, personal, relationship, weight, travel, business, and anything else you can think of that you would like to do in your life.  Remember your goals need to be specific and measurable.  Once you come up with your list of goals, rank them in order of importance.  We have a list of 371 goals right now, and even though that may seem like a lot, and we may not get to them all, it definitely helps us focus on what’s important and guides our decision making.  And, in the last 2-1/2 years we have accomplished 30 of our goals and taken them off the list!  We reevaluate our goals at the end of every month.  An empowering book that can help you discover your ultimate passions and goals is “The Passion Test” by Janet Bray Attwood and Chris Attwood.

Come join me on my weight loss journey!  I’d love to have you along!
