Yay!! I’ve lost 25.6 pounds total so far with 54.4 pounds to go to reach my goal!  My BMI has dropped from 36.9 to 33.1 and my goal is 24.9.

Day 2 Juice Plan

Again, start out your day with herbal tea or hot water with lemon and ginger.

Breakfast:

“Beeting it with Cilantro” Juice

-1/2 beet with green root

-3 carrots

-handful of cilantro

Mid-morning snack:

Slice up an apple and drizzle cinnamon over it.

It’s amazing and it will fill you up.

Lunch:

Raw carrot ginger soup (makes 2 servings – save 1 for dinner)

-3 cups carrot juice

-1 ripe avocado

-1 Tbsp agave nectar

-1 Tbsp ginger, minced

-1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper

-1/4 tsp sea salt

-2 Tbsp fresh cilantro

Puree the first 7 ingredients in a blender until completely smooth.

Taste and adjust the seasonings if necessary.

Garnish the soup with a drizzle of oil and the chopped cilantro.

Mid-afternoon snack:

“Almost as Good as a Waldorf Salad” Juice

-2 celery ribs

-2 green apples

Dinner:

“Alpha Salad”

Make a big salad and enjoy it with a cup of raw carrot ginger soup

-1 head of romaine hearts

-handful of cherry tomatoes

-avocado

-roasted almonds

-sliced red onions

-freshly crushed pepper

Steak – 6 oz (season and grill each side for 8-10 minutes depending on how well done you like your steak).

Lemon and olive oil dressing:  tablespoon of cold-pressed olive oil with 1 lemon and crushed pepper.

Before Bed:

Herbal tea or hot water with lemon.
