Day 5 Juice Plan

Yay!! I’ve lost 25.6 pounds total so far with 54.4 pounds to go to reach my goal!  My BMI has dropped from 36.9 to 33.1 and my goal is 24.9.

Day 5 Juice Plan

Remember to start out your day with herbal tea or hot water with lemon and ginger.

Breakfast:

-Protein smoothie

-1 cup frozen berries

-1 scoop protein powder

-handful of almonds

Mid-morning juice:

Spicy Drink

-2 large cucumbers

-4 cups cilantro, leaves and stems, roughly chopped

-1 lime

-1 poblano pepper, ribs and seeds removed

-1 apple

Lunch:

-3 oz of Alaskan Wild Salmon (if wild isn’t available, get something else wild like halibut, white fish, or tuna.  Don’t buy farmed fish.)

-1 lemon juice

-freshly ground pepper

-pinch of Himalayan salt

-2 cups of spinach

-1 tablespoon olive oil and lemon dressing

Season both sides of the wild salmon and place on grill or saucepan.

Cook for 10 minutes on each side.

After salmon has cooked pour lemon juice over the salmon.

Serve with 2 cups of spinach.

Mid-afternoon juice:

Full of Life Recipe

-1 beet with tops

-1/2 medium sweet potato

-3 carrots

Juice beet first, then yam, then carrots.

Mid-afternoon snack:

Handful of mixed nuts (walnuts and almonds)

Dinner:

-3 cucumbers

-1 teaspoon Himalayan salt

-1/2 medium red onion

-1/2 tablespoon ginger, finely minced

-2 tablespoons fresh lime juice

-2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped

-dash of cayenne pepper, optional

Peel the cucumbers and slice in half lengthwise.

Place the cucumber halves cut side down on a cutting board and slice into thin half moons, about 1/4″ thick.

Place in a medium size bowl and toss with the salt.

Allow the cucumbers to sit for 1 hour so the cucumbers release some of their water.

Strain the cucumbers and toss.

After dinner snack:

Ditch the popcorn and say hello to cauliflower popcorn.

-1 head cauliflower, cut into small florets

-3 tablespoons olive oil

-kosher salt

-fresh crushed pepper

-2 cloves of minced garlic

Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower, oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Transfer to a baking sheet and spread in a single layer.

Roast, stirring once, until golden brown and tender, about 30 minutes.

Before Bed:

Hot water ginger tea with lemon.
