Yay!! I’ve lost 25.6 pounds total so far with 54.4 pounds to go to reach my goal!  My BMI has dropped from 36.9 to 33.1 and my goal is 24.9.

Germanium improves cellular oxygenation, but isn’t an essential nutrient.

It helps fight pain, keeps your immune system working properly, and rids your body of toxins and poisons.

Researchers have shown eating foods containing organic germanium is an effective way to increase tissue oxygenation, because, like hemoglobin, germanium acts as a carrier of oxygen to your cells.

A Japanese scientist, Kazuhiko Asai, found an intake of 100-300 mg of germanium per day improves many illnesses, including rheumatoid arthritis, food allergies, elevated cholesterol, candidiasis, chronic viral infections, cancer, and AIDS.

Germanium is found in all organic material, of both plant and animal origin.

The following foods contain the greatest concentrations of germanium:  broccoli, celery, garlic, shiitake mushrooms, milk, onions, rhubarb, sauerkraut, tomato juice, and the herbs aloe vera, comfrey, ginseng, and suma.

Cautions

Although it’s rare, some people may have a toxic reaction to this mineral if they take it in excessive amounts.

People have been known to develop kidney problems, and there have been some deaths associated with germanium.
