Kelp

Kelp is a kind of seaweed that can be eaten raw, but it’s usually dried, granulated, or ground into powder.

It’s also available in a liquid form you can add to drinking water.

Granulated or powdered kelp can be used as a condiment and for flavoring, as a salt substitute.

If you don’t like the taste, you can buy it in tablet form.

Kelp is a rich source of vitamins, especially the B vitamins, as well as of many valuable minerals and trace elements.

It’s reported to be very beneficial to brain tissue, the membranes surrounding your brain, your sensory nerves, and your spinal cord, as well as your nails and blood vessels.

It’s been used in the treatment of thyroid problems because of its iodine content, and is useful for other conditions as varied as hair loss, obesity, and ulcers.

It protects against the effects of radiation and softens stools.

Kelp is recommended as a daily dietary supplement, especially for people with mineral deficiencies.
