If you’re new to juicing, it’s normal to think these look unappetizing, even gross or disgusting.
A small part of us hopes these recipes appear that way to you.
Because once you taste them, the surprised and delighted look on your face will be priceless (we just wish we were there to see it).
The Green Energizer
This drink is one of our favorite weight-loss juices.
*1 lemon (peeled)
*1 cup of kale
*3 stalks of celery
*1/4 bulb of fennel
*1″ piece of ginger
*1/4 head of romaine lettuce
Kale is high in beta-carotene.
Kale also has a significant supply of vegetable protein that’s amazing for your body.
Next time you’re at the market, look for kale’s healthy but ignored cousins – Swiss chard, mustard greens, and collards.
Mega Green Man (a.k.a The Day Slayer)
If you’re in an energy slump, this is the juice for you, getting you revved up and ready to slay the day.
*1 broccoli floret
*2 collard green leaves
*1 ginger knuckle
*2 handfuls of spinach
*1 handful of dandelion greens
This juice is one of our favorites.
Trim up the carrots so they fit in the juicer.
If the lemon isn’t organic, trim the skin off it.
Wash the rest of the vegetables and get ready to dominate life.
The Body Purifier
We drink this juice to flush out toxins and give our hearts a boost.
Cut the top off the carrots and peel the skin off the cucumber if it isn’t organic.
Many times, if the beet isn’t organic, the chemicals will be at the base where the beet and the stems connect.
Make sure it’s clean or cut it off completely.
Life Regenerator Blood Boost
Drink this juice to purify and give your blood the iron it needs.
*1 handful parsley
*6 spinach leaves
*4 lettuce leaves
*1 piece of ginger
Trim the tops off the carrots and wash all your vegetables.
Put them in the juicer and enjoy.
Drink this juice slowly.
We usually spend 15 minutes drinking a juice like this.
1. Decide you actually want to train your taste.
2. Understand you’re not replacing your taste buds, you’re training them.
