Like we’ve been talking about, if you train your taste first, you’ll have a much higher success rate than those who try to diet on willpower alone.
You’ll probably notice, even though you may be tempted to eat food you shouldn’t the next time you sit down at a restaurant, your training takes over and you smile as you enjoy the option nourishing your body, not just your taste buds.
By focusing on this small but important challenge it makes every aspect easier.
When you love the food that loves you back, eating nourishing foods becomes second nature.
The food transforms your body, gives you more energy, focus and determination to keep it up.
You’ll find with this program your relationships will improve, job performance will increase, and your attitude becomes much more positive.
This is where the transformation process really starts.
And transformation is a never-ending journey with ups and downs along the way.
We’re not saying it’ll be easy though, we’re just saying it’ll be worth it.
What Does the Transformation Process Look Like?
You’ve gone through part of it already as it pertains to transforming your taste buds to enjoy healthy foods.
This was a small but focused commitment.
Amplifying this commitment becomes much easier once you’ve already achieved success.
To truly transform you need to take the process to every level of your life.
In a previous post we talked about defining your “why.”
We overcame the superficial reasons for change and we made the reasons much more integrated into your entire life.
The next step is to re-define your “why-dentity.”
Knowing why you’re doing something is half the battle.
Knowing who you really are is the other half.
Your identity is who you see yourself as, whether it’s a fat person longing to be skinny or a fit, healthy person trapped inside a temporarily unfit body, you must get clear on that.
Your answer to this question determines most of your success, or lack thereof.
Your identity determines how you behave in every situation, even when nobody’s looking.
Especially when nobody’s looking.
This is why it’s much easier to make those choices when you truly see yourself as a fit, healthy, vibrant person who may be temporarily in another situation.
This is redefining your “why-dentity.”
