Vitamin B5 – Pantothenic Acid

Known as the anti-stress vitamin, pantothenic acid plays a role in the production of your adrenal hormones and the formation of antibodies, helps with vitamin utilization, and helps to convert fats, carbohydrates, and proteins into energy.

Pantothenic acid is needed by all cells in your body and is concentrated in your organs.

It’s also involved in making neurotransmitters.

This vitamin is an essential part of coenzyme A, a vital body chemical involved in many necessary metabo9lic functions.

Pantothenic acid also enhances stamina and prevents certain forms of anemia.

It’s needed for normal functioning of your gastrointestinal tract and may be helpful in treating depression and anxiety.

A deficiency of pantothenic acid may cause fatigue, headaches, nausea, and tingling in your hands.

Pantothenic acid is also needed for proper functioning of your adrenal glands.
